About Me

Matthew Gittleman is a child, couple, and family therapist, specializing in working with teenagers and their parents on issues resulting from addiction to electronic devices.  He also provides practical techniques to help parents cope with their out-of-control teen.

With over 5 years experience as a therapist, and a graduate of Antioch University, specializing in solution-focused, cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, he is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. 

In addition, Matthew has presented at national conferences and to general audiences, speaking on the topics of video game and other electronics addictions, and transition challenges for students matriculating to high school from middle school.

Matthew is an interactive, solution-focused therapist.  His therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. He integrates complimentary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, he works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they’re striving for.
